Entry only, or the whole day
Around $32 for the walk. Around $70 for the day. The difference is the driving.
Entry with a guide is what the official site sells and what the cheapest listings here are. Around thirty dollars, two to three hours, and it covers exactly one thing: getting you through the gorge with somebody explaining it. It assumes you have driven to the northern access near Ardales, and it assumes you have worked out how you are getting back to that car from El Chorro at the far end. Some listings include the shuttle; most do not.
A full day from Málaga is around seventy dollars and includes the coach both ways, the entry, the guide and the return from the southern exit. For a visitor without a car this is not the expensive option — it is the only one that works, and once you price a hire car and the parking it is competitive even if you have one.
Between the two sits the middle case: you are driving anyway, and you want the shuttle handled. That is $43, and it is the most underrated listing on this page.

The Caminito is one-way. You finish at El Chorro, several kilometres by road from the northern car park, and there is no path back.

The single most important line on any Caminito listing. Three entry tickets here include it; every day tour does. Without it, the return from El Chorro is your problem.
- Whether transport from the city is included
Thirteen of the eighteen listings here collect you in Málaga, on the Costa del Sol or in Seville. Five assume you arrive at the gorge.
- The entry time on the ticket
Fixed, as at most Spanish sites. In summer the earliest slots go first and there is a good reason for that: there is no shade anywhere on the route.
- How long the listing says it is
Two hours means the walk. Six to eight means the whole day including the drive. They are not comparable numbers.
- The minimum age
Children under eight are refused at the entrance. This is a rule of the route and no operator can make an exception.
- Group size
Most listings are standard groups. One caps at seven. On a metre-wide one-way walkway that matters more than it would anywhere else.
- The review count behind the rating

Parking at the northern access. There is a car park and it is not free. It also fills at weekends in spring, which is another argument for the early slot.
Water. There is nowhere on the route to buy anything, and in an Andalusian summer four hours without shade is not a place to be improvising. Carry more than you think.
